About The Real Estate Professionals

Getting to know us!

Our story so far...

Martin, Andrew & Howie are three friends & colleagues that somehow have got together and formed a great team!

All three of us are busy agents and also dads...and we recognized that we each sometimes needed extra help with busy work and home lives. So we are there to help each-other (and importantly our clients). We’ve combined some of marketing services and are there to ensure that houses are always shown when requested and that our buyers and sellers are given the best service.

If you chose to work with an individual agent you’ll get them helping you...but also feel comfortable in the knowledge that they have people and systems in place to make sure you are served at all times.

TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More.

Meet Martin

Martin originally from Yorkshire, England loves Real Estate! He's won a bunch of awards..Martin is married with one little girl (Isla) and loves spending time at Bowring Park with his family...he's trying his very best to make sure his daughter is a football fan (he's a Brit remember)...but rather disappointingly to him she's more into Ballet & Princesses. Before entering Real Estate Martin proudly served full time with the Royal Air Force for 12 years. He was known for his leadership skills , organizational ability, and dedication to the service. Prior to his time in the Armed Forces, Martin had a background in Business & Finance. Martin is a dedicated full time professional Realtor whose number one goal is to serve his clients to the very best of his ability. If you want a Real Estate Professional that goes the extra mile call Martin Byrne anytime for all your real estate needs.

Meet Andrew

What Community Initiatives, charities, or volunteering are you involved in?

Currently I’ve decided to put my volunteer efforts into the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign.
While Christmas can be the most joyful time of year for some, it’s sad that for some of our neighbors,
this is not the case. Making ends meet is harder for many others, and I believe it’s important no one
gets left behind during the holiday season, in particular. Christmas can be a reminder for some of the
things they don’t have, or the loss of a loved one, or many other personal reasons. This holiday season
be sure to be kind to one another and give if you are able.

How do you put the needs of your clients above your own?

It’s not hard putting a client’s needs above your own when you’re a Realtor®. It just happens. Someone
is trusting you with a large responsibility – it should consume you until the task at hand is complete.
Proper time management is the key to successfully juggling my Family and my Clients.

What is your life motto? Why?

My life motto is rather simple and Cliché. “Life is Short”. All of us need to stop sweating the small stuff.
It doesn’t get us anywhere in the end – life happens anyway. The hand has been dealt, we decide what
we play. On one hand life is indeed short, in the sense that we’ve all lost loved ones far too early and
have seen how fast life can stop. On the other hand, a long life still flys by! My wife’s grandfather is 93,
and he’ll even tell you he blinked and it all just flew by. So for these reasons, as hard as it can be
sometimes, we need to remember that Life is short, enjoy it!

What is the most rewarding part of your job as an agent?

By far, it’s handing the keys to a First Time Home Buyer. I’ve always remembered that feeling of getting
the keys to my first home. I work with a lot of first time home buyers all year round and I think if it
every time I hand them the keys to their very first home! It’s a huge feeling to have, and to witness.

What's one Funny Experience you had during your career?

Real Estate is very serious business! But there’s always room for a laugh. I’m not an overly serious guy
most of the time, so if we’re working together there’s gonna be some laughs. Whether it be my clients
cracking a joke about my funky goldfish socks, or me laughing at a client who accidentally wore home
the home owners shoes instead of their own when we viewed a property once, there’s always
something funny to remember.

Also, one time my iPad broke, so I had to take my wife’s with me for a viewing. I forgot to take the purple leopard print case off, my client thought it was pretty funny with my suit on holding a purple leopard print iPad.

What are your top 3 inspirational quotes?

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” – Wayne Gretzky
“Hold fast to dreams. For if dreams die, life is like a broken winged bird that cannot fly” – Langston Hughes.
. “…If at first you don’t succeed, try try try again” – William Edward Hickson

How did you get into Real Estate? What was the most exciting thing that attracted you to the
Real Estate Industry?

Ever since I was out of college, people had been telling me they felt I should give selling Real Estate a try.
The thought had always intrigued me each time it was brought up, so I figured I would wait no more and
reached out to a former co-worker of mine who was now in the business. I knew before I met with him
that I was doing this! I’ve always had a career in sales, from ATV parts, to Cellular Phones, to cars. I
knew Real Estate was the most important investment one could take on, as a relatively new home
owner myself at that time, and I wanted to help people make that decision. After just one meeting, I
was off studying for my exam with my goal to start the coming January of 2014. I started, and haven’t
looked back, nor do I want to. I love where I am.

What is the most rewarding part of your job as an agent?

That’s simple. It’s seeing my client happy. I set out to make someone happy when I’m asked to help,
and it’s a fantastic feeling when you see them smile! I know that’s “cheesy”, but it’s true. Knowing my
clients are happy is the best reward. I don’t know what could be more rewarding than a happy client.
An unhappy client doesn’t sound very rewarding!

Do you have any special hobbies or interests? What do you like about them?

I’m a dad of 3 year old & 1 year old girls. My hobbies include running around chasing them, playing with them, begging them to share with one another, cleaning their faces, making sure they’re fed, taking them to birthday parties, reading bed time stories, should I go on? I think you get the point…parents don’t get hobbies. Occasionally I get to do some woodworking, or watch a hockey game without falling asleep at 9:00. My girls make me happy though, that’s what I like about them. They make everything about life better, except TV. They ruin TV. I haven’t watched an adult show in sooooo long!

What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
I’m a grown man who talks to his dog in a baby voice.
